Rheda-Wiedenbrück is a picturesque town (46,000 inhabitants) on the river Ems, offering a variety of cultural events, numerous recreational activities and, last but not least, wonderful and straightforward people.
In order to enter the Flora-Westfalica you just cross the street. This way you get to Rheda castle and the surrounding parks including the Orangery and one of the nowadays rare alder carrs.
The “Flora” park ideally links the two historical town centres of Rheda and Wiedenbrück. Children may discover a wonderful water playground, jungle gyms and an area with outdoor games for the young and the young at heart. All shops and department stores are in the immediate vicinity. A variety of restaurants is at your disposal when it comes to delicious cuisine for any taste and budget.
Sport and Relaxation
Besides 2 public outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool our town offers various sports facilities.
